Ingredients
- Milk solids (minimum 20% milk fat)
- Acetic acid (used to coagulate the milk)
- Place the frozen paneer in boiling water or heat it in a microwave for 5–7 minutes until thawed.
- For the best results, thaw the paneer overnight in a refrigerator at approximately 8°C.
- Store at or below 8°C after thawing and consume within 2 days.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan and lightly fry the paneer until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add butter, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder, and coriander powder. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and well combined.
- Stir in cream, salt, and garam masala, mixing well to create a smooth gravy.
- Bring the gravy to a gentle boil, then add the paneer and simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with butter and kasuri methi before serving with naan, roti, paratha, or rice.
