There are three most popular ways to cook Trophy Basmati Rice. However, before cooking, it is advised to soak the rice for at least 20-30 minutes before cooking for a soft texture.

Open Pot

  • Boil the water and add rice to it.
  • Let it cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  • Strain the rice and rinse it in hot water.
  • Optional, but you can fluff the rice with a fork and then serve.

Closed

  • Mix 4 measures of water and 1 measure of rice.
  • Boil in a heavy-bottomed vessel.
  • Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Microwave

  • Add 1¾ part water and 1 part rice in a deep vessel.
  • Cover it with a cling film.
  • Set the timer for 6 minutes.

Note: It is recommended to use 300g of rice at a time.
