Rozana Basmati Rice can be cooked in three different ways. Before cooking, it is best to soak the rice for at least 20-30 minutes to get that soft and light texture.
Open Pot
- Add rice to the boiling water.
- Cook for 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
- Once cooked, strain the rice and rinse it in hot water.
- Consider fluffing the rice with a fork and then serve for well-separated rice.
Closed
- Combine 4: measures of water and rice respectively.
- Bring them to boil in a heavy-based vessel.
- Cover the lid and cook for at least 10 minutes on low heat.
- Leave it to cool down for 5 minutes before serving.
Microwave
- Mix 1¾ part water and 1 part rice in a deep microwave-safe vessel.
- Cover it with a cling film and set the timer for 6 minutes.
- Let the rice cool down and fluff with a fork.
Note: It is recommended to use 300g of rice at a time.
