There are three simple ways to cook Kohinoor Extra Fine Basmati Rice. Before cooking, soak the rice for 20-30 minutes, and then choose any of the following method to cook the rice –

Open Pot

  • Add rice directly to the boiling water.
  • Cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Once the rice is cooked properly, strain and rinse with hot water.

Closed

  • Mix 1 measure of rice to 1¾ of water.
  • Cook in a heavy-bottomed vessel for 10 minutes with a lid covered, on low heat.
  • Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Microwave

  • Mix water and rice to the ratio of 1¾:1 in a deep vessel.
  • Cover it with a cling film and cook for 6 minutes.

Note:For best results, cook only 300g of rice at a time.
