Preparing ready to cook chana masala does not require much effort. No matter what method you choose, all you need to do is heat it before serving.
Microwave
- Tear the pouch a little by about 2cm from the notch.
- Stand the pouch inside the microwave.
- Heat for 2 minutes on high settings.
- Take it out carefully. Open from the top to serve.
Cooking on the Hob
- Pour the rajma masala in a pan.
- Heat for 3-5 minutes on the hob.
- Stir it from time to time. Once it is heated enough, serve hot.
Hot Water
- Place the unopened pouch into boiling water.
- Leave it for 3-5 minutes.
- Tear open and serve hot.
Note: For a richer finish, add a little butter and about 30 ml of double cream. Top with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
