Ingredients

There are two ways you can prepare Kashmiri Roganjosh –
Lamb
- Cut 600g of boneless lamb.
- In a cooking pan, heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil, and saute the lamb for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the gravy and mix it well to keep it from sticking.
- Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the lamb is tender.
- You can add water, if needed.
- Give it a final stir and serve hot.
Vegetarian
- For a vegetarian dish, add 500g of paneer (cottage cheese) to the sauce.
- The cottage cheese can be used raw or lightly.
Note: Add chopped coriander for a richer, more rich and presentable finish.
